yoga & healing arts

The market for private, customized yoga experience is greaterthan ever. Therapeutic yoga is only one category in a market for individualized sessions. Teaching yoga to a group of people is very different from one-to-one. Being a great yoga class teacher does not prepare one to create an individualized yoga experience. Yoga & Healing Arts Specialty Development does, and will:

  • Expand your view of opportunities
  • Teach skills and techniques to use immediately
  • Provide entry experience into modalities

In two weekend intensives participants experience differences in one-to-one sessions in which touch is light or off-body (Reiki); large hands-on assisted movements (Thai), and coaching of clients for self-movement (Table). Course includes:

This Specialty Development Course provides yoga teachers skills for rewarding sessions with private clients. Unlike massage therapy, clients are dressed as for yoga class, so a variety of settings are appropriate: Yoga studios, spas, health clubs, outdoors, etc.

Mona Ceniceros created Yoga & Healing Arts Specialty Course to support yoga teachers in achieving excellence as bodywork professionals. It is also ideal for: Massage therapists, chiropractors, personal trainers, physical and occupational therapists who have experience with yoga.

Requirements: Two weekend intensives (Friday evening through Sunday morning); enjoyable online research assignments; practice sessions as homework.

To Register: Contact Mona Ceniceros via email or phone: 507.387.6600. You may print out a registration form (PDF) and mail in, or pay at first event.
